Location Warehousing S.L. is a family business owned and managed by brothers Steve and Mark. The company has been established for five years during which time it has acquired a reputation as one of the premier removal and storage companies of Eastern Almería in Southern Spain.

Such has been the company’s success that it has moved into large new premises on the El Real Industrial Estate which sits alongside the A7/E15 Autovia del Mediterráneo at Antas, Almería. Continued business growth has now necessitated the acquisition of a further large unit in the El Real Industrial Estate.

Location Warehousing S.L. is a legally registered Spanish company. Its premises and warehouses are all fully insured and alarmed with a direct, 24 hour link to the police. Stored possessions are completely safe whilst in Location Warehousing’s care and customers are welcome to visit and inspect the premises at any time. 

Covering the length of the UK, the company also has a branch in London, a depot in East Anglia and associate offices in northern England.

Local Removals

Moving house has rightly been identified as one of the most stressful events that one can experience. From carefully wrapping and packing your furniture prior to the move, transporting it – perhaps via their Antas store, and unpacking and positioning your goods in your new home, nobody takes greater care of your valuable and precious possessions than the staff of Location Warehousing. The care and safety of your effects is of paramount importance to the company and its operatives.

Across the length and breadth of Spain, no removal is too large or too small. The Location team will move a complete houseful of furniture and effects or a single tea chest – all with equal care and attention. 

International Removals

As with local removals, all goods are professionally packed prior to the move and carefully handled throughout. But if a local removal is stressful for the householder, consider the additional burden and worry associated with an international relocation. In addition to the unavoidable upheaval and uprooting, the logistics of the move are far more complicated and often licences, permits etc have to be obtained. Location Warehousing are well accustomed to resolving such issues and ensuring a smooth and problem-free move to your new country of residence.

The international division started with removals from the UK to Spain but its success has been such that the company is now expanding its operations into continental Europe, attracting more and more business from Germany, France, The Netherlands and Portugal. Removals are of course carried out in all directions between these countries and Spain.

A full, international door-to-door service is provided and if necessary goods can be stored either in the UK or locally in Spain whilst your new home is being built. For added protection and security, your property is packed into heavy duty, wooden containers whilst in store.

Commercial And Private Storage

The company offers 400 cubic metres of available storage space in the UK and a further 500 cubic metres of space in Antas, Almería, Spain. Virtually nothing is too large, and certainly nothing is too small for Location Warehousing to accommodate in its stores. Forklift services are of course available.

Whilst the stores’ contents usually comprise furniture, effects and equipment, very often boats, cars, caravans, motorbikes and even office files (see Archiving Services) are accommodated.

Whenever suitable for containerisation, goods in long-term storage are packed into premium quality, heavy duty, wooden storage containers, each having a capacity of 250 cubic feet. External dimensions are 2184 mm x 1575 mm x 2438 mm (7’2” x 5’2” x 8’0”). Containerisation is now the industry-wide norm for such storage.

Archiving Services

Location Warehousing offers secure long and short term storage for corporate and private files, documents etc.

Such items are stored in shelved archive containers which offer excellent and easy access for document retrieval or addition. The external dimension of these containers are 2184 mm x 1575 mm x 2438 mm (7’2” x 5’2” x 8’0”) – exactly the same as those used for commercial storage.

Inside, the sides of the containers are fitted with hinged racks to provide support for the three tier shelving which is capable of holding 112 document storage cartons. An aisle along the centre of the container allows ready access to any of the stored cartons.

The hinged door of the container is fitted with a secure hasp and staple suitable for securing the container with the customers own padlock.
