Vera Bull ring

The bull ring or Plaza de Toros was built in 1879, the oldest bullring in the province of Almeria and is the setting for many fiestas, cultural displays and the occasional bull fight.  The bullring was neglected for years and almost became a ruin until a recent restoration project which reopened the bullring on the 25th September 1997.

The bullring is located on the edge of the town and is open to the public along with a museum.
