Almerias premier paragliding club, Club Parapente, is the ultimate source of local paragliding knowledge, having extensive experience in the region, and access to the latest weather forecasts and wind conditions, the club offers guided services to enthusiasts of all levels and advice on paragliding flight paths, ensuring the best possible flights in top locations.
With the availability of high altitude take-offs and regular favourable thermal conditions, flights can continue for hours.

Tandem flights

No experience is necessary to enjoy the sierras, valleys and coastline of Almeria from a birds eye view, the tandem paragliding flights offered by Club Parapente provide a unique and wondrous experience without the need for training.
On a tandem ride the passenger sits in front of the pilot who guides the flight smoothly from take-off to landing.

I have to point out, after speak to Alain, Club Parapente is not a business, it is a Club, for like minded enthusiasts, and similarly any interested newcomers, who have a passion for paragliding, and while they charge for their services it is mainly to cover their costs. If paragliding is your dream then Alain is the man to talk to. I would also like to say, thank you Alain, for the generous offer of a free tandem flight with you, am I honoured, and I am sooooo tempted, but at the same time my fear of heights is still preventing me from taking this opportunity.
