All work is made to measure and powder-coated in our fully equipped workshop on the Albox industrial estate cutting out the middle man saving you time, hassle and money by buying direct from a manufacturer. We also have mobile welding equipment for on site work such as lock replacements and repairs.

Shot Blasting & Powder Coating

Shot Blasting is process of forcibly propelling a stream of Shot (Steel Grit) material against a surface under high pressure to remove any Oil, Dirt, Rust, Paint & Contaminants Before Powder Coating.

At The Metal Works we have an on site shot blasting room for all your shot blasting needs.

Powder coating is a type of coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. The coating is applied electrostatically and is then cured under heat to allow it to flow and form a “skin” around the metal object.

Powder coating can produce thicker coatings than conventional liquid coatings without running or sagging

This process can be carried out in a variety of colours giving a hard wearing quality finish to all types of metal items using our large on site Curing Oven

Our Services include removal and refurbishment of existing metal work such as Garden Gates , Railings , Rejas etc removing all old paint & rust and returning them looking brand new again. This service can be applied to Garden Furniture  such as tables and chairs that are looking a bit tired , rusty or have flaky paint restoring them to their brand new state.

We can also provide this service to many other items such as Alloy Wheels, Vehicle Chassis, Car & Motorcycle parts etc.
