Al Qasr (meaning The Palace in Arabic) is truly a paradise like no other! A 181,99 mts2 split-level villa nestled beautifully on an extremely private 1,400m2 southwest facing plot, surrounded by high perimeter walls and large secured solid entrance gates, with plenty terracing and parking, offering total anonymity.

This was one of our key design requirements.

The Master Suite (The Amira) can be accessed via the curved glass and tile staircase from the open-plan living space. The dressing area is situated on the landing at the top of the staircase with ample wardrobe space. From there ascend into a truly beautiful octagonal bedroom with King sized Moroccan teak four poster bed, matching beside tables and blanket box, below a huge domed ceiling. The twin room (The Samira) is located on the ground floor. With a beautiful hand-crafted Andalucian traditional tiled headboard, Moroccan bedside tables, large mirror and white high gloss wardrobes. French patio doors lead onto your own private balcony with wrought iron seating. Located next to The Samira, off the entrance hall is its own separate bathroom with Italian high gloss sink and contemporary vanity unit, large bath with overhead rain shower.

The attached king room (The Layali) with separate access via the stairwell off the secured courtyard, is beautifully formed. Featuring a contemporary Italian ultra-modern en suite bathroom with walk in shower/large rain head, large modern sink/vanity, well-lit with large mirror, extractor fan and LED lighting in the bathroom niches. Large sliding door for privacy from the bedroom. The bedroom has a king size bed, large padded headboard and personal reading lights, wall hung bedside tables, a wardrobe as well as a large window and louvred shutters. At the end of the bed is a picture wall with purple mood lighting to aid relaxation. A full-length glass entrance door allows you to sit up in bed and admire the breath-taking scenery!

Each bathroom is fitted with high end, Italian and Philippe Starck by Duravit sanitaryware & Hansgrohe rain-head showers.

The outdoor spaces are divided into, chillout, relaxation, sunbathing & al fresco dining. The spectacular infinity pool, veranda and al fresco dining terraces are south & southwest facing, with plenty of space to spread out on the pool loungers provided. The arched veranda with its shaded awnings designed to escape the midday sun. A willow all fresco dining area, painted in soft shades of Farrow & Ball, with its long Italian white rattan/glass dining table with seating for up to 6 guests, allows guests to dine in the shade surrounded by the cool mountain breezes and the stunning Jacaranda tree. At the opposite side of the villa (north) there is a sheltered courtyard, where steps lead to a large partially covered chillout lounge painted in the soft stone hues of Farrow & Ball. Surrounded with arches, glass and breath-taking vistas differing from those by the pool terrace; the soothing tinkle of Thai temple bells can be heard over the gentle mountain breezes. Tucked away in the shade is a beautifully comfortable white rattan corner sofa in which to relax away from the intense heat. Step through an arch to discover a further uncovered chillout area perfect for star gazing, complete with a large built in corner sofa. The lower terrace is accessible down a flight of steps as are the matured gardens.

For the keen gardener you will note that the gardens are planted with many native plants, lush palms and the odd exotic! Al Qasr will give you a totally luxurious, relaxing and unforgettable experience.

The current owners took several years to design Al Qasr before their Andalucian dream came to fruition. Much time was spent in designing, decorating and furnishing the property to create a high-end, unique and luxurious haven with a harmonious blend of Moorish/Andalucian design and contemporary furniture. They wanted the experience to feel like living in a 5-star hotel in their own home.

Cabrera is a very special and unique village with two excellent restaurants both within a 5 minute walk from the villa/2 minute drive. Cabrera is approximately a 12km drive from the beautiful coastline of Mojacar & Mojacar Pueblo, with its fantastic choice of restaurants and bars. Golf courses too are plentiful and are approximately a 25-30 minute drive. For the more adventurous you can even drive to the Sierra Nevada Ski Resort in less than 2½ hours. There are three airports accessible to Cabrera, offering budget flights from the UK, Almeria is the closest at just under 1 hour away, Murcia is approximately 1.1/2 hours and Alicante at just over 2 hours.

Please note the costs related to the purchase are not included in the asking price and therefore will have to be paid for separately by the purchaser.
