A delightful 2 bedroom 1 bathroom country cortijo with 1 bedroom 1 bathroom guest annexe located in the hamlet of Mizala near Sorbas with magnificent rural & mountain views, private pool, outbuildings and a large plot of land.

The quiet hamlet of Mizala is set within the most beautiful valley offering amazing views. The links for the A7 / E15 motorway are close and the city & airport of Almeria are just 30 minutes away. The nearest large town is Sorbas located approx. 15km away. Sorbas is a picturesque & historic town with good amenities. It is famous for the exposed rock face as you enter the town with properties almost hanging from it. In the town you will find bars, shops, restaurants, church, square, medical centre etc. and a weekly market on Thursday for fresh produce.

Upon approach, there is tarmac access all the way to the house. The cortijo sits within a large plot of 1475m² in the centre of the hamlet with a rural feel yet not isolated as there are neighbours around offering a sense of community and security. The plot is fully fenced & gated with an unspoilt rear view towards the countryside & mountains. The main gates open to a long & gravelled driveway with a double carport to the left. At the entrance, a double arched covered porch provides a seating area overlooking the hamlet, whilst to the rear is another elevated & covered terrace leading out from the rear hallway which overlooks the pool & gardens. A few steps lead down to the pool area with plenty of space around the pool for sunbathing. At the side of the house is a BBQ & covered dining area for al fresco dining.

Ahead of the dining area is a detached 1 bedroom & 1 bathroom casita/annexe ideal for visiting guests or family. This is very modern and boasts hot & cold air conditioning. Opposite this annexe on the other side of the plot is a walled garden area and a covered storage area. At the end of the pool, a wall & gated entrance then leads to the extensive orchard which includes many mature fruit trees. Here there is another casita which was previously used as a yoga/relaxation room.

Entering the property via the front door, an entrance hall leads to a storage room directly ahead. To the right is the lounge with a log burning fireplace for the winter months. A passageway on the left then leads to the bright, modern & fully fitted kitchen which has recently been upgraded and boasts Silestone work surfaces and integrated appliances. A door from the kitchen then leads to a long central hallway which is fitted with storage cupboards.

First on the left is the ultra-modern family shower room with a huge walk-in shower, glass screen, hydro-massage shower unit, heated towel rail and a fitted vanity unit. Next on the left is the second bedroom which is a double room. Opposite is the spacious master bedroom with hot & cold air conditioning. A door at the end of the hallway then opens out to the elevated seating terrace overlooking the pool.

The guest annexe is a really useful feature and has been totally refurbished in a modern style. The lounge/bedroom boasts air conditioning, and although modern in style, still retains exposed ceiling beams. The shower room is very tastefully finished with a large walk-in shower, glass screen and a vanity bowl basin with mirror above.

In summary, this is a well-presented rural home enjoying fantastic views, a private pool, lots of land yet still within a small village setting. The guest annexe is the icing on the cake for friends & family coming out to visit or even as a rental proposition.
