This is a rather unusual opportunity of two cortijos being offered in one sale. The properties are both very private due to their location and also independent of each other.

Cortijo 1, the oldest and smallest of the two properties with 86m² construction completed in 1995, is a traditional Spanish cortijo with all of the rooms being accessed from a central living room.

Cortijo 2, is a much a larger property with 238m² construction on a plot of 15,910m² that also has irrigated almond groves and 130 olive oil producing trees.

The front of the property is very deceptive and you most certainly would not expect the size of home that the façade suggests.

Entering the property you arrive at the large living room with impressive feature beamed half-vaulted ceiling and open fireplace. With approximately 80m² floor space there is ample room to use it as an open plan living and dining room.

The nearest town is Uleila de Campo at 3km and is a traditional working Spanish town 55km from Almería city with a population of only 850 “Uleilenses” who enjoy the selection of shops, more than half a dozen bars and restaurants, bank, supermarket, bakeries, fishmongers and butchers. There are also schools, doctors and pharmacy and an 18th Century church which is the focal point for fiestas with the main four day and night long annual fiesta taking place in September.

Local places to visit include the two museums in the town, The Museo del Esparto and Museo de La Tejera and also a local Bodega (vineyard) where you can sample their Blue Wine!

Transport links are very good with the A7/E15 arterial road through Spain only 12 minutes away; Almería airport a 45 minute drive and Murcia (San Javier) and Alicante at 2 and 2½ hours respectively.
